The Mull of Kintyre Music Festival is back for its 30th live year, and we couldn’t be more excited to announce the dates for this years event!
From August 9th to August 13th 2023, music lovers from around the world will come to celebrate the rich history and culture of Scotland’s West Coast music scene.
This year’s festival is set to be bigger and better than ever before, with an incredible lineup of local and international artists.
We are excited to share the news that Skipinnish, one of Scotland’s most beloved folk-rock bands, will be headlining the 2023 festival at the Glen Scotia West Coast Rocks concert.

This year’s festival also sees the return of the main indoor concerts, including the Beinn an Tuirc Gaelic Night, Festival Ceilidh and Kilkerran Survivor’s Night.
Family favourites such as the Festival Parade and open-air Doon the Green are back too, plus an Acoustic Super-Session with a huge selection of musical talent coming together for a lively, impromptu set of tunes that weaves in and out of every genre.
But the festival is not just about the music – it’s also about celebrating the rich friendships, stories and memories created throughout the 30 years.
The ancient history of Kintyre is a magnificent attraction for many. Attendees can explore the local area and discover its many attractions, from famous distilleries to historic buildings, stunning scenery and much more.
