We are delighted to welcome the Ali Buckets Ceilidh Band to perform the dance set at this year’s festival Ceilidh Night. This 4-piece band are Alasdair MacDonald, Abigal Pride, Ewan MacDonald and Campbeltown favorite Darren Brown on percussion and they have a great reputation for getting the audience on the floor so be sure to bring your dancing shoes with you.
Wee Toon Tellers make for an exciting return to play the main stage at this Festival Ceilidh Night, having performed on every stage at the Mokfest.
The band have promised a set full of songs and tunes from their vast repertoire, which can be heard on their 2 LPs — ‘Jarred and Feathered’ and ‘10 Years Matured.’ We are delighted to have them back in front of a live and hugely appreciative audience again in our 30th year.
The Festival Ceilidh opens with our own award-winning pipe band, The Kintyre Schools Pipe Band and their dedicated tutors will once again march into the to provide a stunning performance to get the night under way.
Once again, The Dalriada Connections Band come together to perform at the Festival Ceilidh Night. The group is a selection of local and visiting musicians from Northern Ireland, USA and the Pan Celtic nations who are joined by students and tutors from Campbeltown Grammar School.
