The Mull of Kintyre Music Festival celebrates its 33rd live event this year on August 19 – 23 with another fantastic line-up across the 5-days of concerts and free events.
Some of the best bands and musicians from across Scotland will perform at the 7 ticketed concerts with headline acts including Skipinnish, Blazin’ Fiddles, Kathleen MacInnes and Mike Vass, Haggis Chasers Ceilidh Band, Ímar and Slainte Davaar Allstars.

The Saturday night concerts on Aug 22 feature two fantastic headline acts. Multi-award-winners Skipinnish return to headline the Glen Scotia West Coast Rocks concert with their new line-up playing in the town for the first time. Heron Valley and the Argyll Ceilidh Trail play support in this 4-hour concert extravaganza which promises to deliver the full-on west coast festival experience in the Victoria Hall.

Headlining the Traditional Concert on the same night is the 2025 Scot Trad Awards folk band of the year winners Blazin’ Fiddles performing for the first time at the festival since 2006. Opening the concert is Beth Malcolm accompanied by Jim Malcolm. Beth will be making her debut at the event.

The festival is delighted to welcome Cadenhead’s on board as the sponsor this year’s Ceilidh Night on Aug 21. The Haggis Chasers Ceilidh Band with their six-piece line-up are guaranteed to get everyone dancing at the festival Ceilidh Night. The festival would not be complete without a performance from the Archie McAllister and this year he has formed a new band especially for this concert. Joining him are Sileas Sinclaire, Arran McAllister and Alasdair Murray. The Dalriada Connections Band featuring students and tutors from Campbeltown Grammar School workshops will perform and the Kintyre Schools Pipe Band opening the concert following a performance at the head of the Quay.
The Beinn and Tuirc Festival Gaelic Night on Aug 19 gets the 33rd festival celebrations under way with one of the top Gaelic singers, Kathleen MacInnes accompanied by Mike Vass. This will be a night of tunes, stories and songs from a host of outstanding Gaelic performers. The following night on Aug 20 the Young Folk Night promises another great selection of young performers from across Kintyre.

The Dalriada Connections Concert on Aug 23 is headlined by Ímar. This 5 piece band includes musicians from bands such as Talisk, Manran, Mic Lir and Rura are not to be missed. Also performing is local singer songwriter Che Martin making his debut at this concert. He will be joined by a host of other musicians including Lorne MacDougall, Scooter Muse & Jil Chambless (USA) at this fantastic afternoon concert.

The festival ends with Kilkerran Survivors Night featuring Campbeltown supergroup Slainte Davaar Allstars who will close the event. We.R.Soul make a welcome return to this legendary concert along with Kintyre Schools Pipe Band who will once again perform. Making their debut at the festival and Survivors Night are Jim and Joanne Swan who have said that they are delighted to perform on the main stage on the Sunday night. There are more band still to be confirmed so look out for further announcements.
