Arthur Cormack with Ingrid Henderson

Arthur Cormack was born in the Isle of Skye, won the National Mòd Gold Medal at the age of 18 and, as a singer, has several solo albums to his credit as well as recordings with Gaelic bands Mac-talla and Cliar. Arthur is also a regular presenter on BBC Radio nan Gàidheal and has been Chief Executive of Fèisean nan Gàidheal for over 30 years.

He was inducted to the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame in 2011 on receiving the Hamish Henderson Award for Services to Traditional Music and lives in Portree with his wife, Shona.

Ingrid Henderson lives in Glenfinnan and was born and brought up in Lochaber where she was surrounded by traditional music since birth. With early guidance from music tutors such as Savourna Stevenson, Angus Grant and strong family influences, she began performing, touring and recording at a young age.

In 1990 she won the BBC Radio 2 Young Tradition Award aged 13 which resulted in worldwide performance opportunities. Over the years she worked on both solo and collaborative projects as well as the Glenfinnan Ceilidh Band with which she performed a the festival Ceilidh Night in 2019.
