HEADLINING ACT
Kathleen MacInnes & Mike Vass
Kathleen was born on South Uist and was brought up in a Gaelic speaking home. After a few years of TV presenting and acting jobs she became known for her voice and released two albums to critical acclaim, Gaelic singer of the year in 2006 and Album of the year 2012 at the Trad Awards she also featured on Ridley Scott’s Hollywood Blockbuster Robin Hood, 2010 and more recently released her third album in 2023. Also in 2023 Kathleen headlined the festival Gaelic Night and is back due to popular demand.
Mike Vass who will accompany Kathleen on fiddle is one of the most creative forces on the Scottish music scene.
Norman McKinnon
Norman McKinnon is a hugely popular performer at the festival Ceilidh Night and has headlined at previous Dalriada Connections and Gaelic Nights.
