With the new concert format now in place, the Festival organisers continued with the two Sat night concerts, with Indie-Rock giants Idlewild headlining the Victoria Hall concert and pop-folk legend Eddi Reader and her band Boo Hewerdine. Allan Kelly headlined the Traditional Concert in Campbeltown Picture House. Support bands at these concerts were local bands Violent Echo and Canterach.
Blazin Fiddles headlined the Festival Ceilidh with Norman MacKay’s Ceilidh Experience performing the ceilidh set. Stuart Cassells made his first appearance at the Festival that year with his band Cassells opening the Friday night concert sets.
Sambayabamba provided street entertainment in a year which also saw performances by The Favourites headlining the Survivors Night, The Hugh Trowsers Band, The Wee Toon Tellers, Kintyre Schools Pipe Band and Saggy Trousers.
