Year 15

2007

In 2007 the MOK Fest headlined with punk-rock giants, The Stranglers in the Victoria Hall, with Box O’ Bananas playing support.

Dougie MacLean made a welcome return to headline the Traditional Concert in Campbeltown Picture House with Scooter Muse, Ed Millar, Jil Chambless and Archie McAllister playing support.

The event also introduced a new event, Doon the Green featuring The Democrats, Twisted Melons, A New Hope, and The Joots, plus children’s entertainment from the Funky Chicken and loads of community stalls and surprise guests.

The Festival Ceilidh saw Skerryvore play at the event for the first time, performing with their new six-piece line-up. The Dalriada Connections Concert headlined with Cathal Hayden & Gerry Thompson. Survivors Night closed the Festival with performances from Horizon, Wee Toon Tellers, Kintyre Schools Pipe Band and Catch 22.

By now, the Festival Club in the White Hart was well established with festival fringe bars and open-air events across the entire weekend.
