For our tenth celebration, a new concert was introduced. Young Folk Night in Campbeltown Heritage Centre promotes many of the best young musicians in Kintyre. It has continued to sell out every year since.
This was also the year Full Moon Ensemble flew in from the USA to play at the event. Scooter Muse, who played with the band, has been a regular visitor ever since.
The headline act was Capercaillie, plus Four Men and a Dog returned due to popular demand. Ross Kennedy & Alistair McCulloch, Pipework, Deuch ‘n’ Dorus, Wee Toon Tellers and Kintyre Schools Pipe Band also performed at the Victoria Hall concerts that year.
Family entertainment was again provided by Fairy Famous Family and Big Rory at the Parade, Harbour Splash and Burnside Square.
