Year 21

2013

2013 was the year that The Fratellis came to town and were supported by local rock band Violent Echo who performed some of their own material at the concert. Having such a high-profile band ensured that tickets sold out in just a matter of hours.

The Traditional concert in its new permanent home in Campbelltown Heritage Centre also sold out, with Rhura headlining along with Fiona Hunter, who returned to headline the event again in 2023 with her three-piece band.

Skipinnish played a special two-part set at the Festival Ceilidh as they played the concert set. After a short break, they returned to the stage to play a full-on ceilidh set to the audience’s delight.

Other highlights included Barrule from the Isle of Man headlining the Mitchell’s Glengyle Dalriada Connections Concert and the Sound of Kintyre Pipe Band making their debut at Survivors Night.
