The Canny Band are a rare fusion of piano, diatonic button accordion and bodhran who were recipient of the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music ‘Up and Coming’ award in 2021, leading to a busy summer touring festivals around the UK.
Having several awards under their belt already, they have become stalwarts of Glasgow’s fertile music scene, cooking up an effervescent mix of trad-based material with borrowings from classical, jazz and beyond. The Canny Band are not to be missed!
