Year 12

2004

In 2004 we saw the return of the Full Moon Ensemble from the USA. North Cregg from Ireland, The Anna Massie Band and Shooglenifty also played at the Sat night concert in the Vic. Filska from Shetland, Deoch n Dorus, Cean Tir, Wig Wam Bamz, Wee Toon Tellers, Kintyre Schools Pipe Band, The Brunting Room and many more played across the Festival concerts that year.

By now, the Young Folk Night had become a firm favourite in the Heritage Centre as the Festival continued to develop and expand the number of concerts each year.

The open-air events continued to grow with the first-ever Grand Parade, along with Brass and Pipe band performances across various indoor and outdoor venues in the town.
