Year seven was the first time Aly Bain & Phil Cunningham performed at the event, along with Beginish from Ireland, Burach, Maire Ni Chathasaigh & Chris Newman, with Celtic reggae outfit Edward II finishing a fantastic night.
Another highlight of 1999 was street entertainers, The Chipolatas, who performed at the ‘Harbour Splash’ as well as various open-air venues, including Burnside Square.
