Year 6

1998

The sixth Festival saw the first musicians from Cape Breton play at the event. Fiddle legend Jerry Holland flew in with Blues & Celtic guitarist Dave MacIsaac to headline the Saturday night. They were joined by Shooglenifty, Flook and The Wrigley Sisters making their Festival debuts and the Old Blind Dogs making a welcome return.

The Oban and Lorne Strathspey and Reel Society concert moved to Friday night as this concert started to become increasingly popular.
