2019 Bands Announced

MOK Fest 2019 set to Rock the Wee Toon

The Mull of Kintyre Music Festival is delighted to announce the first of the bands for MOK Fest 27 which takes place on Aug August 21st – 25th.

The Saturday night concerts on Aug 24th promise a fantastic night of music with folk-rock legends Manran in the Victoria Hall ‘West Coast Rocks’ concert with Heron Valley and Rhuvaal. 

The Traditional concert the same night in Campbeltown Heritage Centre will headline with premier Scottish singer-songwriter Dougie MacLean supported by Ceann Tir featuring a host of young musicians from the Campbeltown area.

The Glenfinnan Ceilidh Band is guaranteed to get everyone dancing at the Festival Ceilidh Night on Aug 23.  Young folk fusion band Eriska along with The Dalriada Connections Band will also perform with Kintyre Schools Pipe Band getting the night started in their usual rousing style. 

The Mitchell’s Glengyle Dalriada Connections Concert on Aug 25 will have another great line-up with headline act Chris Stout and Catriona Mackay supported by Western Sound, Ciaran Mulholland and Scooter Muse, Ross Conner plus many more.  Don’t forget to pick up your free sponsors whisky miniature at the door.

The festival opening concert is the Gaelic Night at Ceol Campbeltown on Aug 21 and headlines with Ainsley Hamill who is joined by a host of local and visiting Gaelic performers.

The Festival ends on Aug 25th with Survivors Night headlines with Slainte Davaar Allstars and many guest bands including Rhuvaal, we.R.soul, Gilchristians and many more acts across the night.
